Congratulations to Annika Nickson of Nickson Travel, who has been named Top Luxury Responsible Travel Agency at the 2026 TTG Luxury Top 20 Luxury Travel Agencies awards. The award recognises travel agencies that are making responsible travel a meaningful part of their business, demonstrating that exceptional, personalised holidays can go hand in hand with more thoughtful choices about the places we visit and the impact we have.
The judges praised Annika’s commitment to embedding sustainability throughout the client experience, from helping travellers choose lower-carbon alternatives such as rail journeys to excluding harmful captive wildlife attractions from her portfolio. Her success is also a great reflection of the growing community of independent travel professionals working to make a positive difference across the industry.
Annika takes over the title from Ashley Quint of TravelTime World, who won the inaugural award in 2025. As fellow members of the Responsible Travel Advisor Collective (RTAC), Annika and Ashley share a belief that travel advisors have an important role to play in helping clients travel better, supporting local communities and protecting the places and wildlife that make travel so rewarding. It is wonderful to see this work recognised, and congratulations to Annika on a thoroughly deserved win.
